Charlotte Lamotte Biography
CORPS DE BALLET
Born in Nivelles (Belgium). She started dancing in 2005 at a private school in Belgium, which offered her the opportunity to work with many maestros from the Paris Opera Ballet, such as Laurence Fanon, Christiane Vlassi, Françoise Legrée and Christiane Charmolu.
In 2013, she won a scholarship with the Royal Ballet School Antwerp, under the direction of Michael Shannon, and where she worked with maestros such as Yelena Pankova, Bart de Block and Eva Moreno, among others. In 2014, she danced Don Quixote with the Royal Ballet of Flanders and Swan Lake with the Opéra de Bordeaux. She then further developed her training by joining, in September 2015, the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala. She completed her studies in May 2016 and immediately joined the corps de ballet at the Teatro alla Scala (Milan), where she danced Swan Lake, Giselle, Symphony in C, Onegin, La Dame aux Camélias (Camille), A midsummer night’s dream, Le Corsaire, Serata Nureyev and Don Quixote, among others.
In September 2018, she joined the Compañía Nacional de Danza (CND), under the direction of José Carlos Martínez.
