With Axis, Gentian Doda joins the cast of young choreographers to have their work performed by the Compañía Nacional de Danza 2. After creating two pieces for the CND Workshop, Gentian here presents his new production, created specifically for the Company’s young dancers.
Any search for equilibrium must take place between order and chaos and is plagued with numerous confused elements and moments of stagnation. Axis seeks to submerge us in the centre of the whole process.
Raphael Saada has composed part of the music, as well as arranging it and ensuring that the whole has shape.
