Javier Monzón

Born in Madrid, where he studied at the Real Conservatorio Profesional de Danza de Madrid.
In 1995, he participated in the Bejart Ballet Lausanne, in 1997 in Sleeping Beauty with the Royal Ballet at the Teatro Real of Madrid, and in 2000 with the Royal Ballet of Flanders. He danced in Europa Danse in 2002.
In 2003, he joined the Compañía Nacional de Danza2, directed by Toni Fabre. Between 2005 and 2008, he was a member of the Nederlands Dans Theater 2, directed by Gerald Tibbs and then he joined the Nederlands Dans Theater 1 in 2008, where he remained until 2009, under the direction of Anders Hellstrom, dancing to choreography by Cristal Pite, Wayne Mcgregor, Jirì Kylián, Hans van Manen and William Forshyte.
Since January 2010, he has been a member of the Compañía Nacional de Danza.
