Mar Aguiló

Born in Calvia, Mallorca, Mar Aguiló Durán began her ballet studies at the Mª Antonia Mas dance studio. During this period she combined dance with rhythmic gymnastics, winning four individual and team titles with groups from Mallorca and the Balearic Isles. In 2002 she was semi-finalist in the Zaragoza International Dance awards, going a step further the following year and winning first prize and a scholarship at the American Academy Awards.
In 2002 she joined the Ballet Jove Mallorca Company, moving three years later in 2005 to the Ecole-Atelier Rudra Béjart, under the direction of Michel Gascard, also performing on a number of occasions with the Ballet Béjart from Lausanne.
In September 2007 she joined the Compañía Nacional de Danza 2. In September 2010 she joined the Compañía Nacional de Danza.
