Tamako was born in Hokkaido (Japan). She started her studies of ballet in the Uchiyama Ballet Studio continuing her training later in the Academie
de Danse Classique Princess
Grace with M. Besobrasova as director.
In 1986 she won the Second Prize
in the Prix de Lausanne and two
years later, the Fourth Prize
in Varna. In 1989, she joined
the Stuttgarter
Ballet with Marcia
Haydée as director, dancing
many works of choreographers like
G. Balanchine, J. Cranko, J. Neumeier,
Petipa, M. Bejart, Jirí Kylián,
Nacho Duato, William Forsythe...
In 1996, she enrolled in the Deutsche
Oper Ballet with Richard Cragun
as director.
In September 1999, she joined the Compañía
Nacional de Danza.
