Naciturus is the first work by this young choreographer for the main company of the
Compañía Nacional de Danza, to which she has belonged since 1988, first as a dancer and later as choreographic assistant to Nacho Duato. It is an intimate and personal work, a radiography of the soul. Sexuality, eroticism, maternity, together with passion, pain and tenderness, a flood of emotions that impact the spectator visually through the bodies of the eight dancers, who, according to Taira, are also co-responsible for the creative development of the piece. Through them, the choreographer bares her soul and shamelessly exhibits her most intimates impulses and wishes, thus creating a universe of beauty and tenderness, with great subtlety and enormous originality in her use of gestures.
