Ni un alma

Yoko Taira

Prisoners of our souls, we do not understand that we alone our responsible for our own conditioning and enchaining. The captured soul, caged, represented by a space described in eight lines of tension.
The she-thief, always expectant, always lying in wait, represented by a deceitful terrain, seeking to confuse us, hoping to take possession of our very souls. The music, her most intimate lament, represented by a journey the cello makes to the deepest depths of our entrails. We can always find a way out of these prisons of our own making perhaps if we reflect upon what we – what our souls – truly hold dear.

Niunalma-portada
