Choreography performed on Theme with Four Variations [According To The Four Temperaments Variations], for string orchestra and piano, Paul Hindemith. Commissioned by George Balanchine.

1. Themes
The first part is made up of three pas de deux or “themes”

2. Melancholic temperament

3. Blood temperament
