Blanca graduated both in journalism, at the Complutense University of Madrid, and in dance at the 'María de Ávila' Professional Conservatory in Madrid.
After developing her career as a professional dancer in the Compañía Nacional de Danza (CND) for eight years (1987-1995), under the directions of Maya Plisetskaya and Nacho Duato, she made a professional transition by joining the communications department of the Orquesta y Coro Nacionales de España (National Orchestra and Choir of Spain), starting out as head of image and publicity and later becoming press manager.
In 2010 she resumed her professional career links to dance, taking charge of the communication tasks of Madrid’s Professional Dance Conservatory (Conservatorio Superior de Danza, CSDMA) for two years. In 2012, she rejoined the National Institute of Performing Arts and Music (INAEM), this time as editor of the dance portal ‘Danza.es’, where she remained for twelve years; an experience that gave her a deep knowledge of the dance sector in Spain.
In November 2024, under the direction of Muriel Romero, she rejoined the CND where she now forms part of its communications department.
