Cristian Lardiez

Corps de ballet


Born in Madrid, Cristian entered the Carmen Amaya Professional Conservatory for Dance at the age of 10, studying under the tutelage of Elena Serna, Víctor Álvarez and África Guzmán, among others. He finished his studies with top mark attainments and a Honourable Mention.

He has obtained a number of prizes in national and international competitions as well as several scholarships from schools such as Scala de Milan and the Hochschule Facer Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt.

In 2014, at the age of 18, he entered Valencia’s Ballet de la Generalitat Valenciana, where he interpreted dances by choreographers such as Nacho Duato (Jardi Tancat), Thierry Malandain (Bolero de Ravel) and Marcos Morau (Pájaros Muertos), among others.

In 2015, he entered the María de Ávila Superior Dance Conservatory to study choreography and interpretation under teachers such as Eva López, Héctor Torres and Ana Catalina Román, among others, and where he interpreted the choreographies Holberg, by Tony Fabre, and The Vile Parody of Address by William Forsythe.

In September 2017, he joined the Compañía Nacional de Danza under the artistic direction of José Carlos Martínez.
