Born in Cuba, 1987. He began his studies in the Escuela Vocacional de Arte Eva Olga Alonso. In 2001, he started studying for his diploma as Dancer and Classical Ballet Teacher, graduating in 2005 at the Escuela Nacional de Ballet in La Habana.

From 2005/2009, he danced with the Ballet Nacional de Cuba, under the direction of Alicia Alonso. He performed different roles, both within the corps de ballet and as soloist, in numerous ballets from the classical, neoclassical and contemporary repertoires, such as Swan Lake, Giselle, Romeo and Juliet, Don Quixote, Muñecos, and Theme and Variations, among others. He worked with such renowned choreographers as Alicia Alonso, Iván Tenorio, Alberto Méndez, Eduardo Blanco and James Kelly, as well as with invited guest maestros such as Vladimir Vasiliev, Svetlana Ballester, Menia Martínez, Loipa Araujo, Aurora Bosch and Lázaro Carreño. From 2009/2011, he attended classes and performed different roles in companies such as Teatro alla Scala, Teatro Torino, Aterballetto and Compañia Liliana Cosi e Marinel Stefanescu. In the 2011/2012 season, he worked in the English National Ballet under the direction of Tamara Rojo, dancing in pieces such as The Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Etudes and Petite Mort, among others. There, he also worked with choreographers suchas as Wayne Eagling, Jiri Kilian, MacMillan, Derek Deane, Harald Lander and Fokine. From 2013/2019, he worked in the Fundación Víctor Ullate Ballet dancing in productions such as Jaleos, Bolero, El arte de la danza, El amor brujo, El sur, Tierra madre, Pastoral de L.V Beethoven, Samsara and Carmen, among others.

In September 2020, he joined the Compañía Nacional de Danza, under the artistic direction of Joaquín De Luz.
