Corps de ballet


She initiated her training at the Mariemma Real Conservatorio Profesional de Danza in Madrid, with Marisa Martínez and Rosa Naranjo as her teachers. She won first prize at the 13th edition of the International Dance Contest of Ribarroja del Turia (Valencia). In 2011, she arrived in USA to round off her dance studies at the San Francisco Ballet, under the direction of Lola de Ávila and Patrick Armand.

She formed part of the San Francisco Ballet, 2013-2014, performing in productions such as Wheeldon’s Cinderella, Petipa’s Kingdom of the Shades in La Bayadère (Act III) and Tomasson’s Giselle & Caprice.

From 2014 to 2020, on being promoted to the corps de ballet of the same company, she performed in numerous productions under the artistic direction of Helgi Tomasson. Standing out among those productions are Scarlett’s The Hummingbird, Balenchine’s Stravinsky Violin Concerto, Caniparoli’s Lambarena, Cranko’s Onegin, Lifar’s Suite en Blanc, Thatcher’s Manifesto and various other pieces from Tomasson himself, such as elThe Nutcracker (the Snow Queen, 2002), Swan Lake andRomeo and Juliet Romeo and Juliet. She also worked with choreographers such as David Dawson, Wayne McGregor and William Forsythe.

She has actively participated in voluntary work, dancing for child patients at the UCSF Benioff Hospital (San Francisco) and as ballet teacher in a voluntary programme on the Galapagos Islands (Ecuador).

In 2021, she joined the Compañía Nacional de Danza as part of the corps de ballet, under artistic director, Joaquín de Luz, and assistant choreographer Joan Boada.
