2022/2023 Season

The National Dance Company faces the 2022/2023 season, under the artistic direction of Joaquín De Luz, with a wide range of premieres and tours within the Spanish, American and European territory.

The ballets that will be staged during this season include Sad Case by Sol León & Paul Lightfoot, Kübler-Ross by Andrea Schermoly, Bella Figura by the great master Jirí Kylián, Where you are, I feel by the young and promising choreographer Valentino Zucchetti, Love Fear Loss by Ricardo Amarante, the great classic production Giselle, with choreography and stage direction by Joaquín De Luz.

The Morgen piece; by Nacho Duato, inspired by the scourge of suicide. For its part, In Paradisum, by Antonio Ruz, will also be programmed in different places. Carmen, an original creation by Johan Inger, for our training and a classic already in the CND repertoire, will continue to be successful in different national and international destinations.

In addition to Passengers Within and A tu vera by Joaquín De Luz himself, Heatscape by Justin Peck, Sinatra Suite by Twyla Tharp, Tschaikovsky Pas de Deux by the great choreographer George Balanchine and Barber Violin Concerto by Peter Martins.
