Ana Calderón Lemes was born in Santander, (Spain). She receives her training at the Royal Mariemma Professional Dance Conservatory in Madrid. In 2004, he received the grand prize from the Princess Grace of Monaco Foundation. In 2015 she joined Pennsylvania Ballet where she dances solo and principal roles in works by choreographers such as Marius Petipa, Christopher Wheeldon, Nacho Duato, Jorma Elo, Hans Van Manen, George Balanchine among others.

Previously, Ana danced at Europa dance 2005 and with the Zurich Ballet in Switzerland, under the direction of Heinz Spoerli. In 2007 she performed with Ángel Corella in Corella and Friends before joining his Company, Barcelona Ballet, where she was promoted to soloist in 2010. In 2013, she joined Houston Ballet, under the direction of Stanton Welch, and danced solo roles in works by Ben Stevenson, Trey McIntyre and George Balanchine.

In September 2019 she became part of the National Dance Company, in the soloist category, under the artistic direction of Joaquín De Luz, dancing leading roles (Calliope) in Apollo by George Balanchine, (Pimpinella) in Pulcinella by Blanca Li , Remansos by Nacho Duato, Arriaga by Mar Aguiló, Pino Alosa and Joaquín De Luz, Flower Festival in Genzano by August Bournonville, (Moina) in Giselle by Joaquín de Luz and Heatscape by Justin Peck.

Currently, she continues as a soloist in the company under the direction of Muriel Romero.
