Mario was born in Madrid, (Spain). In 2014 he starts his studies at the Real Conservatorio Profesional de Danza Mariemma. There he trains as a classical dancer, dancing pieces from La Bayadere, The Nutcracker, Other Dance by Jerome Robbins or Abstract by Jean-Christophe Maillot.
He graduates in 2019 and continues his training at the San Francisco Ballet School, where he is selected for their Training Program. In 2021 he joined the National Dance Company, under the artistic direction of Joaquín De Luz, forming part of the company’s dance corps. In September 2022, under the direction of Joaquín De Luz, he was promoted to solo dancer, a category in which he continues under the direction of Muriel Romero.
In September 2023, Mario is awarded at the 51st Leonide Massine Positano Awards gala as ‘dancer of the year on the international scene’.
Mario has danced with the company leading roles in Pulcinella by Blanca Li, A tu vera by Sara Calero and Joaquín De Luz, Heatscape by Justin Peck, The Sylphide by August Bournonville, Swoosh and Passengers Within by Joaquín De luz, Polyphonia by Christopher Wheeldon and Tschaikovsky pas de deux by George Balanchine among others.
