Repertoire
Quintett
In Quintett, two women and three men meet in a bare space with a bizarre projector.
The dancers are engrossed in their search for the endless possibilities of the human body. They excel in academic tours de force and lose themselves in improvisations and writhing movements. The result is a hurricane of seemingly chaotic dance, which nevertheless has a curious logic that cannot be missed. This all to an endless repeat of the lyrics ‘Jesus’ blood never failed me yet’, a song by Gavin Bryars, which acts like a mantra.
