Born in Bilbao Laura started her studies at the Artebi Centre for Music and Arts, later going on to the Ana Rosa Tercero dance school, where she studied for two years before moving to the Igor Yebra school of dance and choreography, where she stayed until she was 16. In 2008, she joined the José Uruñuela Conservatorio Profesional de Danza, under the directorship of Carmen Tercero, where she completed her formal studies.
In 2010, she took part in the Torrelavega International Dance Contest reaching second place in the superior category. In the 2012/2013 season, she joined the Ángel Corella Ballet, dancing in ballets, such as Swan Lake. She debuted in L’Ópera National de Bordeaux 2012/2013, then directed by Charles Jude. In 2015, she collaborated with the Compañía Nacional de Danza in ballets such as Don Quixote and William Forsythe’s Artifact Suite.
In September 2017, she formally joined as part of the cast of the Compañía Nacional de Danza under the artistic direction of José Carlos Martínez where she remains today under the direction of Muriel Romero. With the CND she has danced in The Nutcracker by José Carlos Martínez, Giselle and Passengers Within by Joaquín De Luz, Grosse Fugue by Hans van Manen, Heatscape by Justin Peck, Pulcinella by Blanca Li and The Sylphide by August Bournonville among others.
