In 2007 Rodrigo began his professional career as a dancer at the Gran Canaria Ballet under the direction of Anatol Yanowsky, dancing pieces by Uwe Scholz and Renato Zanella among others.
In 2008 he joined the Vienna Opera Ballet under the direction of Gyula Harangoz and Manuel Legris, performing choreographies of classical, neoclassical and contemporary repertoire (by Nureyev, Balanchine, Jiří Kylián, Maurice Bejart, among others).
In January 2011 she danced in the televised New Year’s Concert of the Vienna Philharmonic.
In September 2012 she joined the Compañía Nacional de Danza, under the artistic direction of José Carlos Martínez.
In 2021, under the direction of Joaquín De Luz, Rodrigo began his management work in the CND as artistic coordinator. In parallel to his activity in the CND and motivated by his interest in the field of dance management, he broadened his academic training by graduating in the Official Master’s Degree in Direction and Management of Cultural Industries at the UEMC. He also complemented his theoretical knowledge through the specialization courses in Cultural Management from the Public Administrations and in Production and Management of Performing Arts, issued by the Institute of Cultural and Artistic Management.
