Born in the Republic of Korea, 1990. She began her studies at Korean National Ballet Academy (1990-2000), graduated from SunHwa Art School (2003-2005), continued at Preparatory School K'Art (2001-2006) and finished her studies at Korean National University of Arts (2007-2010), where she graduated in 2011.

During this period, he danced various ballets such as Cinderella, The Corsair, La Bayadère, Don Quixote and The Nutcracker with the Korea National Ballet Company (1990-2000) and Don Quixote, La Bayadère and The Nutcracker with the Universal Ballet Company (2003). In 2011 he danced The Nutcracker with Lee WonKuk Ballet Company, 2040 with Seo Ballet Company, Inspiration with Dance Company (with JuHyun Jo), Work with Kim YongGeol Dance Theater and at the International Dance Day Festival at Poz Dance Theater.

In September 2012 she joined the National Dance Company, under the artistic direction of José Carlos Martínez. In September 2014 she was promoted to soloist. During this period she has danced leading roles in In the Middle of Somewhat Elevated, The Vertiginous Thrill of Exactitude and Enemy in the Figure by William Forsythe, Carmen by Johan Inger, Who Cares? by George Balanchine, Hikarizatto by Itzik Galili, Don Quixote, Don Quijote Suite, Delibes Suite, Sonatas, Scarlatti pas de deux, La Favorita and Raymonda Divertimento by José Carlos Martínez, El Corsario pas de deux by Marius Petipa and Festival of Flowers in Genzano. She also dances Herman Scherman and Artifact Suite by Forsythe, Falling Angels by Jiří Kylián, Minus16 by Ohad Naharin, Allegro Brillante by Balanchine, Holberg Suite by Tony Fabre and Romeo y Julieta by Goyo Montero.

Under the direction of Joaquín De Luz she has danced Polyphonia by Christopher Wheeldon, Grosse Fuge by Hans van manen, Concerto DSCH by Alexei Ratmansky, Morgen; by Nacho Duato, Sad Case by Sol León and Paul Lightfoot, Swoosh and A tu vera by Joaquín De Luz.

YaeGee continues as a CND soloist today, under the direction of Muriel Romero.
