Bárbara grew up in the town of Jaca, where she began her first ballet classes with María José Ara. At 16 she attended the Royal Conservatory of Dance Mariemma (Madrid) and graduated with special honours.

Bárbara has worked with different young companies, like Larreal performing Gamzatti in la Bayadère or Majísimo from Jorge Garcia.
She also dances with Ballet Ireland in Nutcracker production and choreographies from Filipe Portugal, Christopher Bruce or Marguerite Donlon. She was in English National Ballet for the producción of Cinderella from Christopher Wheeldon. In the last year she had been working with Compañia Nacional de Danza in Giselle from Joaquín De Luz and Concerto DSCH by Ratmansky.
