Cantata
Cantata is a brilliant choreography, with the typical and vibrant colors of southern Italy, composed of passionate and visceral gestures that evoke the style of Mediterranean beauty. A choral work that invites to the celebration of instinctive and vital dance.
It was originally created in 2001 for the Ballet Gulbenkian (Lisbon, Portugal) and over the years has been performed by various companies around the world. The Boston Globe called it "human and light-hearted", the Daily News Egypt (Cairo) described it as "radiating passion and energy", while La Presse (Montreal) described it as "a Vesuvian noise".
