Passing Birds
Passing birds is a piece created for three couples.
Amaury Lebrun has staged a group of lost beings, possibly birds, around a tree, after some kind of disaster. A flood, a fire, a war… Little by little we see the group evolve, showing their inherent fears and concerns until a certain harmony is reached.

It is as if, knowing that there is no escape, they realise the need to reorganise their lives in this new and confusing environment. The music, the choreography, the stage design, the lighting – everything supports the evolution toward the final sense of order.
The music has been carefully chosen to illustrate this whole process. It features pieces for violin and piano, instruments which are capable of creating an ambience which can be both chilling and warm at the same time.
