Born in Madrid, Sara trained at the 'Mariemma' Real Conservatorio Profesional de Danza where she graduated in 2013.

To further develop and complete her training, she attended the School of American Ballet in New York with teachers such as Suki Schorer, Susan Pilarre and Jock Soto (2011). She then went on to the San Francisco Ballet School (2012). Then, in 2014, the final year of her Bachelor of Arts degree, she entered as a guest student at the Palucca Hoschule in Dresden (where she danced George Balanchine’s Scottish Symphony and Ohad Naharin’s Decadence).

In 2015 she joined the Alicia Alonso Higher Dance Institute and the Madrid Chamber Ballet, directed by Óscar Torrado, where she had the opportunity to dance Don Quixote Suite, Alicia Alonso’s La Fille Mal Gardée, The Sylphide, Giselle and The Nutcracker.

In september 2016, she joined the Compañía Nacional de Danza under the directorship of José Carlos Martínez where she currently remains under the artistic direction of Muriel Romero. With the CND Sara has danced The Nutcracker and Don Quixote by José Carlos Martínez, Concerto DSCH by Alexei Ratmansky, Giselle by Joaquín De Luz, Pulcinella by Blanca Li, The Sylphide and Napoli Divertissement by August Bournonville, among others.
