The CND performs Carmen for the last time

We bid farewell to a piece that is very dear to the Company

On April 9, 2015, thanks to the direction of José Carlos Martínez, the CND presented Carmen, in the version of Johan Inger. It was such a great success that the Company has continued to represent it in theaters around the world, leaving an indelible memory of it.

But all good things come to an end. During the international tour that our team is doing in different American cities, the CND closed this cycle, performing for the last time this piece, Carmen, on the stage of Meridian Hall, in Toronto, adding up to 150 performances.

From CND we would like to thank Johan Inger, Gregor Acuña-Pohl, Marc Álvarez, Curt Allen Wilmer, David Delfín, Tom Visser and Urtzi Aranburu for all the successes since April 9, 2015, José Carlos Martínez for bringing this great production to CND, Yoko Taira for taking care of it with such care and dedication, all the staff of the Company involved, artistic, technical and management, and all the dancers who have made it great since that date.

Farewell, Carmen!
