In her early days it was her love songs that conquered the world. Her Hymne à l’amour reflected how she and everyone else could feel at a beginning of a relationship. After her marriage the struggle of relationships were prominent in most of her songs. Such a example of that was her mesmerizing interpretation of Ne me quitte pas which clearly showed fear. With the tragic loss of her husband, Mon Dieu was one of the songs that most related to one of the strongest feelings that we can have. The loss of the loved ones. A marvellous artist with such iconic songs, she was a mirror of everyone’s life.

“I created three very emotionally engaging pas de deux in a pure neoclassical style danced to only piano. The lyrics and voice of Piaf are transported through the feelings and movement of each couple.”
