Napoli Divertissement

August Bournonville

It is a ballet work based on the original choreography of August Bournonville, known for his influence on Danish ballet. This work is a celebration of life and dance, with colorful scenes that capture the lively atmosphere of Naples. The music for this ballet was composed by Edvard Helsted and Holger Simon Paulli.

The plot revolves around a romance between two young people, Teresina and Gennaro and is set in a picturesque Neapolitan environment. It is a work full of vitality, energy, passion and exciting moments.
