Remanso

Nacho Duato

Remanso, about the Poetic Waltzes of Granados, premiered in New York by the American Ballet Theater in November 1997, received the highest praise from specialized critics. Expressive force, geometry of lines, dynamic use of space and shapes were some of the comments raised by Duato's work. Set to piano music by Enrique Granados, and inspired by the world of Lorca, Remanso exudes ingenuity, offering continuous winks to the viewer, based on the insight of his movement.
