He was born in Alcoy, where he began his dance studies in 1988. In January 2000, he joined Compañía Nacional de Danza 2, under the direction of Nacho Duato and Tony Fabre. During this period he danced choreographies of Nacho Duato, Tony Fabre, Yoko Taira, Nicolo Fonte and Patrick de Bana.

In 2001-2002 he joins the Compañía Nacional de Danza dancing works by prestigious choreographers such as Nacho Duato, Jiri Kilyan, William Forsythe, Mats Ek, Ohad Naharin, Johan Inger, Alexander Ekman and Itzik Galili, among others. He left the CND in 2008 to be part of Les Grands Ballets Canadiens of Montreal, under the direction of Gradimir Pankov. In September 2009, he returned to the CND where he remains at present as a principal dancer.

As part of the CND he has participated in all the creations of Nacho Duato and other choreographers. Currently, under the artistic direction of Joaquín De Luz, he combines his role as principal dancer with the role of artistic coordinator of the CND.
