Miquel LozanoBorn in Torredembarra, Tarragona, starts his ballet studies in 2004 with Creu Álvarez. In 2008 he joins the Real Conservatorio Profesional de Danza Mariemma, where he graduates. In 2012 he obtains a scholarship for the San Francisco Ballet School’s summer intensive, where he is invited to join the last year of studies with a full scholarsip, and also graduating. In his time at San Francisco Ballet School he gets the chance to dance Russian Dance by the company director, Helgi Tomasson, as well as Cinderella, by Christopher Wheeldon.
After a short period of time in the Estudio de Danza Maria de Avila, he joins the Lithuanian National Ballet, where he achieves the rank of Choryphée. His highlights in the company are soloist roles in Don Quixote (Vasili Medvedev) Everywhere We Weren’t (Martynas Rimeikis), La Piaf (Mauro Bigonzetti), Nutcracker (Kzrysztof Pastor), among others. Other ballets he danced during this phase are Snow Queen (Michael Corder), Bolero, Romeo and Juliet, Tristan and Isolde (Kzrysztof Pastor), Coppélia (Kirill Simonov), Red Giselle (Boris Eifman), among others.
In December 2017 joins the Compañia Nacional de Danza, under the direction of José Carlos Martinez.
