Alessandro Audisio Biography

CORPS DE BALLET

Alessandro Audisio PortraitHe was born in Rome, where he studied dance at the Teatro dell’Opera ballet school. From 2011 to 2014, he studied at London’s Royal Ballet School and, in recent years, has also been working with the companies of the Royal Ballet in London and the Birmingham Royal Ballet.

From 2014 to 2016, he danced with Rumania’s National Ballet in Bucharest, performing all its classical repertoire, as well as choreographies by Johann Kobborg and Renato Zanella. In summer 2017, he was invited, together with the Bucharest Ballet, to dance at Granada’s Generalife and, in the same year, to dance the Classical Symphony by Yuri Possokhov with the Bolshoi.

In the 2017/2018 season, he joined France’s Ballet Nice Mediterranee, where he was recognised for his work with choreographies by George Balanchine, Jerom Robbins, Alvin Ailey and Jiří Kylián.

After that, he was contracted by the Budapest National Ballet and danced repertoire ballets for their New York tour (The Nutcracker, Giselle, etc.).

In September 2019 he joins Compañía Nacional de Danza under the artistic direction of Joaquín De Luz.
