Ángel García Molinero Biography


Ángel Molinero Portrait He began his studies at the Royal Professional Dance Conservatory of Madrid at the age of 11, subsequently dancing roles in the corps du ballet and as a soloist in Larreal, La Bayadère and Don Quixote. He also danced Four Seasons, a solo choreography created for him by Jean Philippe Dury, subsequently extended in Larreal.

In 2014 he won first prize at the International Dance Contest of Ribarroja del Turia, where he also received a grant to attend the École Supérieure de Dance de Cannes.

He also received grants from renowned schools such as SAB in New York, where he worked with Peter Martins, and Palucca University, Dresden, where he worked with choreographers such as Aaron S. Watkin.

In September 2015 he joined the National Dance Company, directed by José Carlos Martínez.

In September 2018 he is promoted to soloist under the artistic direction of José Carlos Martínez.
